Metal girder for slab formwork

It is used as one of the main elements of the slab formwork and is part of the main load-bearing elements. The steel girder “BS140” can be used as a vertical formwork element of the plywood and support girder system.

This girder can withstand much higher loads than the ordinary wooden girder H20 and also has a longer service life, thus ensuring higher work efficiency.

The test results of the metal girder show that it has a 35% higher load capacity than the wooden girder.

The weight of the steel girders “BS140” is 5.92 kg / m.t. (Without wood – 5.2 kg / MP)

Characteristics:

Metal used – galvanized steel ST08PS, group HP, class 2.

The profile has a sheet metal thickness of 1.5 mm. The maximum thickness deviation is ± 0.2 mm.
